Yes, the KRASO Sealing Insert Type GR complies with the DafStB waterproof concrete guideline for stress class 1 + 2 and is therefore suitable for watertight constructions.
What is the difference between Type DD/GR and Type VD/GR?
The DD/GR type has a seal width of 40 mm (double seal), whilst the VD/GR type has a seal width of 80 mm (quadruple seal), thereby offering even greater safety.
How can a consistent sealing be achieved?
A reliable and consistent seal is achieved thanks to a particularly soft rubber seal, a central pressure plate and additional bolts to ensure even pressure distribution.
Do you need a torque wrench for the installation?
No, thanks to the Torque Control Nut KRASO DKM, the correct torque is set automatically – a torque wrench is not required.
Is the sealing insert gas- and odour-tight?
Yes, the KRASO Sealing Insert Type GR is gas- and odour-tight and meets the requirements of the TA-Air.
Is the insert suitable for radon-prone areas?
Yes, the radon-tightness has been tested by the IAF. The sealing insert meets the requirements for radon-prone areas as set out in FHRK information sheet MB 101.
