The Sealing Insert Type IN-GR - split - is specifically designed for ribbed utility pipes and Type R cable protection pipes and, depending on the version, is suitable for corrugated pipes with nominal diameters of DN 90, DN 110 and DN 160.
Which pipes or cables can be sealed?
Thanks to the stepless onion ring technology, cables and media lines with a wide range of external diameters (e.g. from 5 mm to 48 mm) can be securely sealed – even in the case of multiple feed-throughs.
What does ‘split’ mean in the context of this cable duct?
‘Split’ means that the sealing insert can be fitted at a later stage. Cables or pipework that have already been laid do not need to be removed or disconnected, which saves time and effort on site.
Is the sealing insert watertight against water pressure?
Yes. Th KRASO Sealing Insert Type IN-GR - split - complies with the DafStB waterproof concrete guideline (stress class 1 + 2) and is therefore suitable for watertight structures such as basements, floor plates or service rooms.
What is the Torque Control Nut KRASO DKM?
The KRASO DKM ensures that the correct tightening torque is applied automatically, without the need for a torque wrench. This guarantees a consistent, secure seal and prevents installation errors.
What material is the KRASO Sealing Insert made of?
The cable duct is made of V2A stainless steel with a 30 mm thick seal. A V4A version is available as an option for an additional charge.
Can several cables be installed at the same time?
Yes. Depending on the design, multiple cable entries with up to six cables are possible. Alternatively, the sealing insert can also be fitted as a blind insert, i.e. without a cable.
