
Lecture "waterproof concrete guidelines and structures" (in German)
The construction of waterproof structures using waterproof concrete is regulated by various guidelines and standards. In our lecture event, which complies with the continuing education regulations (approval has been applied for from the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Architects and the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Engineers), the lecturers will provide an overview of guidelines and responsibilities, information on suitable sealing solutions, building with fresh concrete composite systems, precast walls and report on practical experience from construction sites.

Studied civil engineering at the University of Wuppertal and industrial engineering at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, 1995–2011 various activities in the field of concrete technology and special building materials. 2011-2021 Construction consulting for building waterproofing with a focus on fresh concrete composite systems. Since 2021, he has been working at the engineering firm Schiessl Gehlen Sodeikat GmbH with a focus on waterproofing planning, planner consulting and the preparation of expert reports on waterproof concrete structures, as well as the development and planning of waterproofing systems.
